If you are planning a group hunt, why not commemorate your trip with a Hole N' The Wall cap, shirt or sweatshirt? We also have novelty items such as koozies and shotglasses. The Hole N' The Wall Lodge provides a beautiful setting that is the perfect blend of Iowa farm ground and upland game birds preferred hills. This setting may be the perfect habitat for the wild ring neck Pheasant in North America.
The wild bird hunting season lasts from the last weekend in October through January 10th, according to Iowa DNR regulations.
The Loess Hills Preserve is a hunting perserve expanding over 900 acres of the beautiful Loess Hills of Northwest Iowa. This secluded preserve offers some of the finest pheasant hunting within a natural wildlife habitat.
The preserve hunting season runs from September 1st through March 31st according to Iowa DNR regulations.
Take aim and improve your shot with our tower shoot, available with our preserve and combo hunting packages, or all on its own.
With our preserve or combo hunt, you can practice your aim with sporting clays at the preserve.
Wild bird, preserve and combo hunting packages include the following:
3 wild roosters per person per day (Iowa DNR regulations)**

Shells (1 box per day, per person)

The following rates are per person, per day:
Wild Bird Hunt: $725
Preserve Hunt: $825
Combo Hunt (wild bird & preserve or tower shoot): $875
Tower Shoot: $300
At the time of the booking you will be required to put a deposit of half the amount of the hunt. The remainder of the hunt will be due 30 days prior to the hunt. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Cashiers Check.
At The Hole N’ The Wall we can create a custom package to expressly fit your needs whether you plan to fish or hunt solo or as part of a group. We aim to please! If you’d like to discuss all the available options before booking your reservation, please contact us.
If an unlimited hunting season appeals to you, our membership is the ideal choice!
The membership fee is $100.00 per person. This entitles the individual to hunt as often as he or she likes, during the DNR regulated hunting season, for only $150 per day you hunt. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of issue.
This is a tremendous value! Without the membership, you would pay $250 per day to hunt, with no inclusions. We offer a limited number of memberships each year. Get yours today before they are all gone!
NOTE: There are no inclusions. The membership entitles the holder access to our private grounds for wild bird hunting (not the preserve) only. Advance notice is required. Membership holders may not arrive unannounced. For complete details, contact us today!
